I love that all my emails are in the same thread with that one client. I love the itinerary builder and or proposal. Creating groups and forms for it. I include “signature required “ on my forms to agree to my Terms and conditions or on a credit card form etc. I love that TJ has all the educational videos in case you don’t know how to to do something on it etc
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
Everything is working for me so far. I’ve been using TJ for over 2 years. No complaints.

What do you like most about TravelJoy?
So many things to Like, make that LOVE!. We started in 2017 when they first came on the scene. Got a killer deal for lifetime and would do it again.
The features made more sense to me than Vacation CRM, which I had for months prior to switching. Looking back I had so many hodge podge systems, to collect info and signatures for use of credit cards etc... Travel Joy replaced many of them at the time. I have kept Travfy, because I had so much built , but am moving everything into Travel Joy.
Now it has grown to MORE features with their travel app for clients. We recently had our own drive trip we used it for- it worked great - I emailed to my better half and had him use it and see if it was "easy" for a person that knows nothing about travel joy or travel apps in general.
Features include : a calendar to see things like final payments to birthdays, Credit card authorization that you can vary the 'terms" - Agent planning fees to Vendor authorization, client and supplier as contacts, tasks you can set up to auto email guests or to remind YOU the agent of a task or both. and SO much more.

What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
That's a tough question, I guess tagging things could be improved. I know what I have pre written in the emails forms as example.
What problems does TravelJoy solve for you?
It solves so many- contact lists for clients, contacts for vendors, keep track of payments, commission reports, past client trips- really handy when a repeat calls and ask "where did we stay last time?", which was 3 years ago and 400 bookings :)
What do you like most about TravelJoy?
I'm a solopreneur who started my travel agency in 2018, and in 2024 I'll surpass $1 million in sales. I could not achieve this level of success as the sole employee of my travel agency without TravelJoy! It is my primary CRM, invoicing tool that's PCI-compliant, and my project management dashboard that keeps my many trips organized and on point. The automations keep my clients engaged and informed leading up to travel. The group functionality is fundamental to my business. I don't know how I'd operate my agency without TravelJoy at this point and can't recommend it enough!
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
The look of the messaging through the platform could be improved, and I hope that's part of a future update.
What problems does TravelJoy solve for you?
Managing many dozens of live trips simultaneously without breaking a sweat. The level of organization and customization for my own business is game-changing. I am as successful as I am operationally because of the tools I have at my fingertips through TravelJoy.
What do you like most about TravelJoy?
I've used TravelJoy for about 2 years now. I have loved seeing the innovation and evolution over even these last 2 years!
I love that things can be personalized and seemless and look so professional to our clients. It makes it easy for us and I LOVE the new itineraries, how we can now UPLOAD our travel documents and it reads it and puts in a nice package for us. THE APP!!!, how we now have access directly to Viator. The robustness of what all we can do. I know TJ does SO MUCH more than I even use it for and I look forward to growing with TJ! You have a TravelJoy client for life!
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
The only thing I would like to see (or that I can think of right now) is if I could automate just a little more. I'm sure ya'll can do it lol!
So, for my process, I would like if "automatically" send a certain email after I change the trip status. For instance, I have a video on how to do your payments. So once I would change my status to "deposit done" it would automatically send the email with the video of how the client does payments. Call me if that doesn't make sense. That's all I got! Otherwise, VERY happy user!
What problems does TravelJoy solve for you?
Anything. For examples:
1) I had a large group of about 50 and I sent in the email addresses for you to add to the system for me!
2)I had questions about Automating parts of my process and got a response very quickly. As well as an acknowlegement about an idea I made IN the email! Very impressed
3) Alan Pugh himself went into my account and broke down EXACTLY what I needed to do to do what I was trying to do!
What do you like most about TravelJoy?
TravelJoy is a user friendly platform that makes my job so much easier. From sending invoices, requesting payment information securely, creating client itineraries, scheduled follow ups and so much more. They keep current and listen to your needs as a consumer.
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
I am being asked to be objective and give any negative reviews/comments. To be honest, I have already flushed any of that out with them directly and they either showed me how or changed things up. This company listens. You cannot say that about many companies these days.
What problems does TravelJoy solve for you?
TravelJoy has the most amazing customer service. Recently I had trouble making a form do exactly what I wanted (I like to pretend I am a software engineer and make things complex to BE easier). I emailed customer service and received a Loom walk thru on how to within 24 hours of my email. They are always quick to respond and extremely helpful. If you are not using TravelJoy, I can say with full confidence you are missing out on your life being easier.
What do you like most about TravelJoy?
Travel Joy has been really helpful in managing and growing my business. I like how it keeps my emails together for each trip, it allows me to send sensitive information securely, and has very useful email and forms templates. I know I am using about 20% of it's capability so I really need to learn more about how to take advantage of all it offers!
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
I need more outreach for training. If there are training modules or outreach I'm not aware.

Organization, communication, security. It's a really handy program.

I love Travel Joy! It has increased my efficiency exponentially. I rely heavily upon the tasks feature as well as the forms for signatures. And the embedded form in my website makes things so much easier and seamless. Keeping all client communication for each trip in one area, with files attached, is so helpful. Travel Joy is a fantastic product!

I’m pretty pleased with it. I really don’t have any complaints. I guess if I had to pick one, I would like the photo library to be larger for trip photos.

Travel Joy solves so many problems for me! I especially love it for importing task lists, sending forms, and setting task reminders. It’s very helpful to be able to keep all communication in one area with files attached. And the dashboard allows primary advisors to help with team members. It’s fantastic!

TravelJoy provides me with a way to keep all my client contacts, trips, invoices and trip details all in one place. I can work with many clients because it organizes it all in one great workflow. I do love the ability to create proposals that look professional.
What are some areas of TravelJoy's product that could be improved?
There are a few things that I would love to see improved in TJ.
1) The ability to add specific data points on the dashboard such as Final payment due.
2) TJ has really improved the smart proposal component but it still needs some improvement as it doesn't always load photos and resort details consistently. But I love what they have done so far!

Keeps me super organized! I always know how many bookings I have, when payments are due, and who needs a follow-up call. Love, love TravelJoy!

TravelJoy is the MOST crucial tool in running my business. The task lists keep me on track, and the ability to automate many of those tasks is invaluable. I absolutely love this program

I'm still using a separate program for building proposals and itineraries. I still don't think TravelJoy is quite at the level of my other software.
I'd like an ability to automate emails to clients after their trip is complete - to be more of a CRM. But I'm hoping that is coming in the future.

Tons! Commissions are easy to track. My workflow is now streamlined AND consistent... and emails are very professional.

I've been using TravelJoy since around 2020. It completely changed and simplified how I was communicating with my clients. I love how easy it is to create workflows and customize them for various categories. They make creating email templates and forms so easy. It's really streamlined my client experience.

An issue that I have - that really hasn't been too bad, but I notice it, is sometimes clients will email me directly and I haven't figured out a way to get it in the TravelJoy thread of emails, so currently if I need to review communications, I need to check TravelJoy as well as my email program to ensure I have every written communication.
What problems does TravelJoy solve for you?
TravelJoy solves so many of my CRM problems but one I really like is how they handle collecting my Planning Fees. Again, they make it very easy for me to invoice my client for the fee and processes the payment separately for me. I also use their ability to hold the funds until I'm ready to deposit them into my account, or if I need/want to they will refund the client directly. I LOVE THAT FEATURE!
